We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Scrum Leaderto join our Investing Group team. This role is located in Chennai.

The Vice President, Scrum Leader plays a pivotal role in leading Scrum teams by championing projects and guiding both the team and the product owner. This position is integral to the Agile Practices function, focusing on implementing and promoting agile methodologies to enhance project management, improve team collaboration, and ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality products and services. As a leader within the Scrum team, you will ensure that all agile practices are followed and facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders. This role supports BNY's strategic pillars by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and agile transformation, aligning with the organization's principles of teamwork and client focus

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Champion agile methodologies within the Scrum team by demonstrating expertise in agile practices and facilitating team adherence to agile principles.
  • Provide guidance and support to the team and product owner by leveraging your experience to ensure successful project delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders by actively promoting transparency and open dialogue.
  • Address all facets of the agile development process by serving the business, product owner, team, and individuals, ensuring alignment and effective execution of project goals.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and implementing process enhancements that drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support agile transformation initiatives within BNY by aligning team efforts with the organization's strategic pillars and principles.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Certification in agile methodologies (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP) is preferred.
  • Typically 8 plus years of experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively guide and support Scrum teams.
  • Expertise in agile methodologies and practices to drive project success and team improvement.
  • Ability to facilitate collaboration and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization..
