Position: VP of Marketing

Position Summary
We're looking for a strategic and results-driven VP of Marketing to lead our marketing initiatives and elevate our brand in the competitive IT staffing landscape. This role will own the complete marketing function, from brand positioning and demand generation to digital strategy and thought leadership. The ideal candidate brings deep B2B marketing expertise, preferably within staffing, recruiting, or professional services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and revenue growth
- Lead demand generation initiatives across multiple channels including digital marketing, content marketing, events, and ABM campaigns
- Build and manage a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability
- Partner closely with sales leadership to align marketing efforts with business objectives and optimize the sales pipeline
- Establish the company as a thought leader in IT staffing through strategic content, speaking engagements, and industry partnerships
- Oversee brand management, messaging, and positioning to differentiate our services in the marketplace
- Manage marketing budget, track ROI, and present performance metrics to executive leadership
- Drive digital transformation initiatives including website optimization, SEO/SEM, social media, and marketing automation
- Develop client retention and engagement strategies to strengthen existing relationships
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform strategic decisions
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in senior leadership roles
- Proven track record in B2B marketing, preferably within staffing, recruiting, HR tech, or professional services
- Deep expertise in demand generation, digital marketing, and marketing analytics
- Strong understanding of the IT/technology sector and staffing industry dynamics
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling marketing functions
- Experience managing marketing budgets of $1M+ and delivering measurable ROI
- Excellent leadership and team development skills
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- BTECH/MBA or advanced degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) strategies
- Knowledge of recruitment marketing and talent acquisition trends
- Established network within the IT staffing or technology services industry
- Experience with brand repositioning or company rebranding initiatives
