Process OverviewGM & GCIB Finance Business Enablement & Support, a division of GM & GCIB Finance group is responsible for supporting day to day operations across the platform & centrally overseeing operational excellence efforts; Establish, maintain, and monitor technology & change initiatives portfolios; Ensure adherence to key enterprise policies & standards across the group such as policy identification / Front Line Unit (FLU) guidance creation, implementation, monitoring, reporting and develop, drive employee engagement & inclusion council activities.
Job Description
GM & GCIB Finance Business Enablement & Support, seeks to provide a first-class service to the wider GM & GCIB Finance teams. We are looking to recruit an individual to work closely with the group CFO & the senior leadership team to drive a robust and transparent reporting & governance process with emphasis on timely reporting of headcount, capacity creation, utilization and build & refresh executive presentations. In addition to this, the candidate will also be required to drive improvement projects (using emerging tools) as part of the continued focus on operational excellence. The candidate will therefore have considerable interaction with top and middle level leaders across the functions and is required to possess effective communication skills, ability to drive concurrent initiatives, time management skills and executive presence which are an essential requirement for this job.
ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain executive dashboard to provide real time information on key metrics to enable driving overall group strategy and priorities.
Drive transparent reporting across key performance & risk indicators and provide insightful analysis, trends to help identify watch items and focus areas.
Create succinct executive presentation for multiple stakeholders.
Optimize Operational Excellence function as innovator and change catalyst to drive process redesign and realize efficiency across the platform.
Drive Automation of manual reporting tasks using emerging technology tools like Alteryx, tableau
Partner with GBS and GBAM Finance LOB executives to drive consistent and timely communication routines.
Manage team projects, direct group effort and day-to-day team activities.
Drive risk disciplines and internal controls to deliver the best outcomes for our clients and shareholders.
Be pro-active and engage control partners/ technology to identify and mitigate operational risks.
Requirements
EducationGraduate/ Postgraduate in Finance from Tier I/II institute with at least 12 yrs. Experience in finance domain related to business finance, change management, transformation, COO etc.

Experience Range
12 to 16 years with at least 8+ years experience in Global markets finance domain.
Foundational skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills with ability to collaborate & operate effectively in a culturally diverse group of leaders, peers, and colleagues.
Excellent presentation skills to build visually appealing management packs.
A convincing executive presence which conveys composure and confidence in all situations, the credibility and stature to carry stakeholders through influence rather than the hierarchy.
Proven experience of providing thought leadership to overcome challenges and lead without direct authority, excellent skills with an ability to manage the group of fast paced team supporting multiple business verticals.
Individual should have the resilience to handle internal pressures and conflicts in dealing with multiple stakeholders.
Operate with minimal supervision and ability to deliver based on directional inputs.
Has the gravity to interact at all levels of management to support resolution of complex business issues.
Demonstrated ability to work in a globally matrixes and significantly multi-geography, multi-cultural offshore service delivery environment.
Expert in MS Office Suite - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
Demonstrated ability to lead process improvements & Technology-based change.
Knowledge of Markets finance functions, roles, and responsibilities
Desired skills
Alteryx / Python / Tableau knowledge would be an added advantage.
