Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
  • 8 years of experience in vendor strategy and operations, or in vendor management.
  • 3 years of experience working in projects involving artificial intelligence and Generative AI (GenAI) specifically Google technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Consulting and transformation experience in managing complex projects with ambiguity, multiple information sources and managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner cross-functionally and at the executive level.
  • Ability to deliver business transformation AI programs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with excellent organizational and project management skills.

As an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-focused Vendor Solutions Consultant, you will be an embedded operator who bridges the gap between frontier AI strategies and operational reality within our global vendor ecosystem. You will function as an innovator-builder, moving beyond high-level strategy to co-create, test, and jointly deploy highly automated, high-velocity support engines directly alongside our strategic delivery partners. You will address operational blockers to scale solving process complexities, workflow readiness, and governance challenges that prevent outsourced programs from reaching next-generation maturity. You will serve a dual purposes, driving the white-glove transformation of complex support workflows and acting as a critical feedback loop, turning real-world operational insights into the VMO's future strategic roadmap, ultimately benefiting Cloud's customers and our joint growth.Google Cloud accelerates every organization's ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic consultant and transformation ally to vendor partners and internal Google Cloud teams, owning end-to-end service delivery and driving exceptional customer outcomes.
  • Lead the transformation of a large, globally distributed vendor network, moving beyond legacy oversight to build high-velocity, automated support engines across different sites and products.
  • Drive next-generation business reviews, focusing not just on exceeding baseline targets, but on maximizing operational efficiency and accelerating performance.
  • Design smart governance frameworks and utilize an AI-first, data-motivated approach to identify operational gaps and co-create innovative, automated solutions
  • Orchestrate complex, global initiatives across cross-functional and cross-regional stakeholders to overcome operational bottlenecks and support exponential scale.
