Job Description

Position Title : US HR Compliance Lead

Reports to : Head of HRSS

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR Compliance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company's HR policies, procedures, and practices

comply with federal and state laws and regulations. The HR Compliance Specialist will work closely with internal HR teams and external auditors to ensure that all HR processes and procedures meet legal requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular review of HR policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations, including but not limited to EEOC, VETS, AAP and SOC/SOX
  • Collaborate with HR teams to develop and implement corrective actions to address compliance gaps
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
  • Conduct training and awareness on HR compliance-related topics
  • Partner with legal counsel and external auditors to ensure the company's HR practices are compliant with legal requirements
  • Participate in internal investigations related to HR compliance issues
  • Monitor and report on compliance-related metrics, including audit findings and corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR compliance records

Qualifications / Requirements/Desired Characteristics:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in HR compliance, or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Certification in HR Compliance preferred
