We are seeking a skilled and experienced US Audit Professional to join our client. As a US Audit Professional, you will be responsible for conducting financial audits and reviews for our clients, ensuring compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This is a mid-level position with 4 to 6 years of experience. The role is based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India and is a full-time position.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
4 to 6 years of experience in performing financial audits
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
CPA certification preferred
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Roles and Responsibilities
Instruct and oversee fellow A&A staff throughout engagements. Broaden technical knowledge through review of complex client transactions.
Prepare and or review financial statements. Complete general audit procedures including coordination of audit closing communications, drafting of client correspondence and resolving open items, etc.
Research technical issues using online tools.
Review work completed by staff and make recommendations regarding preparation and accuracy.
Assist managers and partners in running client engagements from start to finish, which includes planning, executing, directing, completing projects and managing to budget.
Ensure complete client satisfaction through open communication, managing and meeting deadlines.
Work closely with partners, directors, senior managers, managers, senior associates and associates on client management, professional development and business development activities.
Assist with resolving more complex issues.
Participate in client meetings. May lead client meetings with some clients.
Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns on audit projects and assess performance of staff for engagement reviews.
Attend professional development and continuing education sessions on a regular basis.
