Job Description

The role holder will manage a team of indirect operational material buyers (for Maintenance, Make & Move) for the UK Ops. The team will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating and buying of goods materials and services to ensure that the company operational needs are met, taking into account price, quality and delivery and to ensure continuity of operations. The role holder will monitor team effectiveness against respective KPIs agreed in the SLAs with the UK BU and will assume accountability for any deviations against the agreed metrics. To ensure exceptional operational services are provided to UK functions ICC is supporting. This lead role will provide management oversight to 6-7 Associates and serve as lead liaison between GCC Team and UK. This role will also support transformation initiatives being led by the UK Transformation Center team. The individual will be responsible to implement process improvements and standardization within the capability

Responsibilities

  • Leading, managing and coaching/mentoring the team in ICC.
  • Product selection, negotiation on vendor selection, pricing, delivery and requesting vendor to be added to MDG
  • Manage the learning and Development process of the GCC team
  • Coordinate work with BU stakeholders and cross functional Hub leaders to ensure full understanding and support of strategic sourcing perspective to key processes
  • Fostering of strong relationships with suppliers / monitoring of supplier performance, periodic reviews with global procurement teams, generate innovation and productivity
  • Monitor KPIs and lead the Continuous performance improvement initiatives
  • Support systems development and adaptation from the team
  • Serve as Primary Point of Contact for Issue Resolution
  • Lead Governance and Performance Reporting
  • Provide additional support during peak periods
  • Collaborate on Process Transformation Initiative
  • Support Digital Transformation Efforts

Qualifications

  • Education: Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Administration, Data Analytics or SC
  • Minimum 7-9 years of P2P work experience
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes
  • Strong communication skills to manage information gathering requests
  • Results oriented with the ability to complete assignments in a timely manner
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to quickly learn
  • Aptitude to work with minimal supervision
  • Detail-oriented; organized in approach and in document maintenance
  • Ability to manage multiple time sensitive priorities
  • Ability to function well in a team environment
  • Consistently shows urgency, courtesy and patience
  • Exceptional communication skills. Proficiency in English language
  • Analytical skills demonstrated by a suitable bachelors degree (ie Science/Technological/Engineering/Math)
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with data, SAP, Buying platforms (ie Ariba), Power Apps and BI, or other dashboards and systems working
