UI/UX Designer

Job Description

We are looking for a Mid-Level UI/UX Engineer to join our creative and collaborative product team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in and a passion for creating intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing digital experiences. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to design and deliver seamless user interfaces across web and mobile platforms.

Responsibilities

Design and Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications using tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.

User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and feedback, translating findings into actionable design improvements.

Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and align with business goals.

Design Systems: Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all products.

Responsive Design: Ensure designs are responsive and accessible, providing a seamless experience across various devices and platforms.

Iterative Improvement: Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback and analytics, striving for optimal user satisfaction.

Technical Documentation and requirements: A major portion of the Job role will be to write clear and non ambiguous requirements

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience: 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in a tech or digital product environment.

Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your design process, problem-solving skills, and final products.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite) and familiarity with front-end technologies (Flutter, Golang, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and advocate for user-centred design.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
• Familiarity with Agile development processes
