We're looking for a hands-on UI/UX Designer who not only crafts elegant user experiences and visual designs but can also ship pixel-perfect front-end interfaces using HTML and CSS (and familiarity with JS). You'll work closely with product, engineering, and design to turn UX flows into responsive, accessible web interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end UI design: wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes.
- Translate designs into responsive, semantic HTML and clean CSS (Sass/LESS a plus).
- Work with engineers to implement designs and ensure pixel-perfect execution.
- Create and maintain design systems, component libraries, and UI patterns.
- Run and synthesize user research and usability tests to validate design decisions.
- Produce accessible UI (WCAG basics) and performance-conscious implementations.
- Communicate design rationale clearly to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 2+ years designing consumer or enterprise web products.
- Strong portfolio showing UI/UX process and shipped work.
- Excellent HTML5 and CSS3 skills (responsive layouts, Flexbox, Grid).
- Experience with at least one CSS preprocessor (Sass/LESS) or CSS-in-JS.
- Familiarity with prototyping tools: Figma / Sketch / Adobe XD.
- Good understanding of accessibility, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Basic JavaScript knowledge (to collaborate with devs / create prototypes).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-have
- Experience building/maintaining a design system.
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks (React / Vue / Angular).
- Experience with performance optimization and automation (build tools).
- Experience with user research methods and A/B testing.
