Function:
ENGINEERING AND SCIENCES SUPPORT
Purpose Statement
Exhibits good understanding of User Interface Design and Human Factors processes and conducts and documents user research in the domain of medical equipment through various tools and techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Exhibits willingness to learn new techniques viz. problem solving, ideation, ethnography
- Interacting with stakeholders to understand various requirements
- Ability to develop innovative concepts based on user needs and good visualization skills.
- Create journey maps, user personas, scenarios, use cases and task flows etc. to define the desired user experience.
- Experience of working on wireframes and visual designs to communicate ideas.
- Good Communications skills to present ideas.
- Experience with Figma to create fully functional interactive prototypes capitalizing on components and design systems to ensure faster iterations.
- Fair understanding of conducting Formative and summative User Testing.
- Support senior engineers in execution of moderate to complex tasks with some supervision.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors/ Masters of Design with experience of 4+ years in Interaction Design
- Working knowledge of Figma wireframing and prototyping

Cultivates a wide range of internal business relationships and begins to develop an external network of resources to facilitate completion of tasks. May lead a project team of small to moderate scope. Influence exerted at peer level and occasionally at first levels of management.
Impact
Contributes to the completion of departmental projects and goals. Errors in judgment, poor recommendations, or failure to achieve results would normally require a moderate expenditure of resources to rectify.
Liaison
Engages with internal company and external contacts. Represents organization on specific projects. Uses diplomacy and tact in interactions and problem solving.
Mentoring
Provides guidance to less experienced staff.
