Job Title: UAV Integration & Test Pilot

Job Objective:

To lead the end-to-end integration, ground testing, and flight validation of UAV platforms. The role includes system-level integration of avionics, propulsion, and payload systems, as well as safe and compliant test flights for performance evaluation and client demonstrations.

Responsibilities

Integration Tasks

* Assemble UAV platforms including airframe, propulsion, avionics, and payloads.

* Integrate and calibrate flight controllers, GPS, telemetry, sensors, and power systems.

* Conduct pre-flight system diagnostics, sensor alignment, and redundancy checks.

* Coordinate with firmware and electronics teams for system tuning and stability validation.

Flight Testing

* Plan and execute test flights to verify stability, endurance, navigation, and payload functionality.

* Assess and document UAV behavior under various mission profiles.

* Maintain detailed flight logs, telemetry records, and anomaly reports.

* Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and DGCA or client-specific flight rules.

Safety & Compliance

* Perform risk assessments before each flight mission.

* Ensure flight operations comply with local aviation regulations and safety protocols.

* Conduct battery health checks, component inspections, and preventive maintenance.

Client Interaction

* Support field trials and demonstrations.

* Train client personnel on UAV operation, integration, and safety.

Key Skills Required

* Strong knowledge of UAV systems.

* Hands-on experience with Pixhawk, ArduPilot, PX4, or proprietary FCs.

* Experience with ground control systems (e.g., Mission Planner, QGroundControl).

* Good understanding of power systems, ESCs, servos, and payload integration.

* Strong communication and technical documentation skills.

Qualifications

* Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.

* Minimum 23 years of experience in UAV integration or test flight operations.

* Valid UAV Pilot Certificate (DGCA Remote Pilot License or equivalent) preferred.

* Exposure to industrial/military UAV platforms is an advantage.
