Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our Treasury Operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in treasury processes, money market instruments, accounting, and compliance. This role requires coordination with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate execution of treasury-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
Treasury Operations
- Handle day-to-day treasury operations, ensuring smooth execution and compliance with internal controls.
- Manage and track maturities, liens, interest payments, and renewals across treasury products.
- Prepare and review documentation for treasury deals, including CP, NCD, G-Sec, Bonds, TREPS, and other money market instruments.
- Generate and publish daily, weekly, and monthly MIS related to treasury activities and ensure timely reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flows, settlements, and positions to support liquidity management.
- Liaise with Credit rating agencies, NSDL, IPA, Investors, custodians, agencies, and internal teams to ensure compliance and timely execution of treasury transactions.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required data, documentation, and clarifications.
- Adhere to regulatory requirements, internal audit guidelines, and operational risk management standards.
- Support in preparing and maintaining necessary compliance reports and registers.
Accounting & Systems
- Pass and verify accounting entries related to all treasury and finance products with advanced accuracy.
- Work on Treasury Management Systems for deal capture, settlement, and reporting.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills for analytics, reconciliations, and MIS dashboards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2 – 5 years of experience in Treasury Operations/Finance
- Strong understanding of treasury instruments such as CP, NCD, G-sec, Bonds, TREPS, etc.
- Expertise in treasury accounting entries and financial transaction flows.
- Hands-on experience with Treasury Management Systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work under tight timelines with strong attention to detail.
