Role Description The Tour Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhopal, responsible for designing and selling customized tour packages and travel itineraries. This role includes advising customers on destinations, travel options, and accommodations, as well as coordinating car/coach bookings, flights, hotels, and holiday packages. The Tour Consultant will handle customer inquiries, provide detailed information on tour inclusions and pricing, and ensure a smooth booking process from initial contact to post-travel feedback. Additional responsibilities include maintaining up-to-date knowledge of travel trends and offers, collaborating with internal teams to create promotional packages, and delivering professional, customer-focused service at all times.
Qualifications
- Strong Travel Consulting and Travel & Tourism knowledge, with the ability to design and recommend suitable tour packages.
- Proficiency in Guided Tours, including explaining itineraries, highlights, and services clearly to customers.
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills, with a focus on listening, problem-solving, and building long-term client relationships.
- Familiarity with booking systems for flights, hotels, and ground transport, and comfort working with online travel platforms.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple bookings and inquiries simultaneously.
- Basic computer literacy, including email, spreadsheets, and travel-related software; prior experience in a travel agency or tour operations is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is preferred.
