Job Title: Tooling Manager/ Sr. Mold Design Engineer (CATIA)

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop 2D and 3D mold components, assemblies, and complete tool designs using CATIA V5/V6.
- Collaborate with product design, and tooling teams to ensure design-for-manufacturing (DFM) principles are met.
- Analyze product geometry for parting lines, draft angles, undercuts, and gate locations.
- Create detailed mold layout drawings, core and cavity designs, cooling circuits, ejector systems, and bill of materials (BOM).
- Conduct design reviews with international customers on daily basis and make necessary modifications to meet performance, quality, and cost targets.
- Maintain design documentation (End of Arm Study, Feasibility Report Generation), revision control, and ensure compliance with customer standards.
- Continuously improve mold design processes, introducing innovative solutions for tooling efficiency and longevity.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma in Tool & Die making (NTTF, Indo German Tool Room, CIPET) Tool Design, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in mold design (injection molding).
- Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 (Part Design, Assembly Design, Surface Design, Drafting, and Mold Tooling Design workbenches).
- Strong understanding of plastic materials, mold construction, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of GD&T, DFM, DFA, and can run mold design operations using macros.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple international projects and meet deadlines under minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with North American mold design standards
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with Catia, is an asset.
- Exposure to automotive, consumer goods, tooling industries.
