Bid Preparation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, technical, legal, and finance departments, to gather necessary information and inputs for tender responses. Prepare comprehensive and competitive bid proposals that address client requirements and showcase the organization's strengths. Ensure compliance with all tender specifications, guidelines, and deadlines.
Submission and Follow-Up: Submit tender documents within specified deadlines, often through online portals or physical submissions .Track the status of submitted tenders and engage in follow-up activities to address client inquiries and requests for clarification.
Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all submitted tenders comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Conduct quality assurance checks to verify the accuracy and completeness of tender documents.
Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential risks associated with tender submissions, including legal, financial, and operational risks .Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
Record Keeping: Maintain organized records of all tender documents, contracts, and correspondence related to the bidding process.
Continuous Improvement: - Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and changes in procurement regulations. - Continuously improve the tendering process and bid-win rates through analysis and feedback.
Candidate Profile Required
Proven experience of 1-3 years in a tender-oriented environment, like bid writing, procurement, project management or project coordination.
Excellent writing skills, as well as good knowledge of grammar and punctuation.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Ability to manage tight deadlines, effectively coordinate tasks, and contribute to making difficult decisions.
Familiarity with project management and the associated software will be a plus.
