Inside Sales Executive
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume outbound calls to qualified leads and prospects to generate pipeline and meet weekly/monthly sales targets.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads using structured discovery, update records in CRM, and progress opportunities through the sales funnel.
- Deliver product/service demonstrations and tailored value propositions over the phone to secure appointments, trials, or direct sales.
- Negotiate pricing, close transactions, and manage upsell/cross-sell opportunities to maximise revenue per customer.
- Maintain accurate CRM data, prepare daily/weekly sales reports, and collaborate with marketing to improve lead quality and campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with telemarketing regulations and internal call scripts; provide feedback to product and ops teams to refine messaging.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven telesales or inside-sales track record with measurable quota achievement.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot and strong discipline in CRM hygiene.
- Demonstrable experience in cold calling, lead qualification, and closing techniques.
- Excellent verbal communication and objection-handling skills for phone-based selling.
- Familiarity with telemarketing compliance and Do-Not-Call regulations applicable in India.
- Comfortable working on-site and delivering consistent performance under KPI-driven targets.
Preferred
- Experience selling SaaS, financial services, or subscription-based products.
- Knowledge of CRM automation, call-dialer tools, or integrated telephony systems.
- Multilingual ability (regional languages) to engage diverse customer segments.
