Role Description This full-time Technician role is based in Dera Bassi and follows a hybrid work model, combining on-site responsibilities with some work-from-home flexibility as business needs allow. The Technician will support production and packaging equipment, perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting, and assist in minimizing downtime on manufacturing lines. Daily tasks include monitoring machinery performance, conducting inspections, adhering to safety and hygiene standards, and documenting maintenance activities. The role also involves coordinating with production and quality teams to ensure smooth operations, responding to technical issues promptly, and supporting continuous improvement of plant processes.

Qualifications

• Technical skills in equipment maintenance, basic electrical or mechanical troubleshooting, and familiarity with manufacturing or FMCG production environments.
• Operational skills including adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and standard operating procedures in food processing or packaging.
• Problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify equipment issues, suggest corrective actions, and support process improvements.
• Communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with supervisors, production staff, and quality assurance personnel.
• Relevant technical diploma or certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work in shifts at the Dera Bassi facility, with readiness for occasional extended hours during peak production.
• Basic computer literacy for recording maintenance logs and using plant management systems; prior experience in a food or FMCG plant is an advantage.
