Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Technical Support Engineer to join our team, focusing on providing top-notch technical support for our customers using Ribbon's networking solution/products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting products from leading network vendors (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet, etc.) and a strong understanding of associated technologies and protocols, excellent problem-solving skills, and exceptional customer service abilities.
Qualification
- BE/B Tech in Electronics or Electronic and Telecommunications
- Possesses 2 to 6 years of experience in providing technical support with direct interactions with customers, troubleshooting, and deploying solutions within IP-MPLS networks of any scale.
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, JNCIS-SP, or equivalent.
- Hands‑on experience in commissioning and performing deep diagnostics on products from renowned network vendors (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.).
- Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, SNMP tools).
- Good to have knowledge on OS Red HAT Linux, Solaris, vSphere-VMware. Basic knowledge of Docker Containers, Kubernetes and SDN Controllers
- Experience of working with ticketing systems (e.g. Salesforce, Oracle, JIRA).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
