Technical Support Engineer

Software/Acceleration Application Engineer As member of highly seasoned Application Engineering team, you will work with customers, Intel PSG field and Distribution field personnel in multiple geographies, and specialist colleagues to enable customer to design in with Intel FPGA/embedded product as efficiently as possible: In this role you will be responsible to provide expert level technical support to customers in the field of high level languages like OneAPI, OpenVino, CUDA, SYCL or DPC++. You will also have the opportunities to support customers in their design process. Experience in Embedded hardware SOC and IPs like PCIe and experience in handling transceivers will be an added advantage. Other responsibilities include: - Assist customers, Intel and Distribution field personnel in multiple geographies, and specialist colleagues to enable design wins and bring issues to closure as efficiently as possible - Create wiki document, knowledge database documentation to assist customer development. - Gather feedback and anticipate future customer requirements to improve customer user experience - Collaborate with Field personnel to accelerate the technical growth of distributor teams through technical training - Create example designs and reference designs to demonstrate usage of Intel FPGA products and create materials to help customer to be self-sufficient in problem solving - Develop good technical relationships with embedded SoC, high level design, and acceleration card application spaces - Establish good working relationships with local sales and marketing personnel who are working on demand creation in the acceleration and embedded systems areas supporting them as necessary Qualifications: - BSEE/MSEE or equivalent, with at least 4 years relevant experience. - Experience in Middleware like OpenVino, Intel Specification of OneAPI, OpenVino, CUDA, SYCL or DPC++. - Knowledge of C, C++ or other relevant programming languages. - Familiar with FPGA/embedded SoC design, software and hardware development or debug. - Secondary skills of HDL like VHDL, Verilog and/or SystemVerilog, PCIe and transceivers will be an added advantage. - Solid understanding of FPGA Architecture and Tools (Quartus) flow. - The ability to work flexibly in a multi-tasking team environment with minimal supervision. - Good interpersonal skills and an ability to apply sound judgement.
