About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned and driven Senior Associate to join our Talent Acquisition team, focusing on Tech and Product roles. This role demands a proactive individual with a proven track record of successfully sourcing and placing top-tier technical talent. You will be a key contributor to our team, leveraging your expertise to drive strategic talent acquisition initiatives and build strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Talent Sourcing and Pipeline Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies utilizing advanced Boolean search techniques across platforms like LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and niche tech communities.
- Proactively build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future tech and product roles.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize sourcing strategies and improve candidate conversion rates.
- Advanced Candidate Assessment and Qualification:
- Conduct in-depth technical and behavioral interviews to assess candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define detailed job requirements and develop effective screening criteria.
- Provide detailed candidate assessments and recommendations to hiring managers.
- Stakeholder Management and Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, providing expert guidance on talent acquisition best practices.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to candidates, providing a positive and informative experience throughout the hiring process.
- Manage and negotiate complex offer packages, ensuring alignment with company compensation policies.
- Process Improvement and Innovation:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the talent acquisition function.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in talent acquisition.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing best practices and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Utilise ATS systems to create reports and analyse data to improve the recruiting process.
- Employer Branding:
- Work with the team to enhance the employer brand within the tech community.
- Attend and organise tech-related recruiting events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management Studies (BMS), MBA, Psychology, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in tech and product talent acquisition, with a proven track record of successful placements.
- Expertise in advanced sourcing techniques and tools, including Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other relevant platforms.
- Strong understanding of technical roles and technologies, including software development, product management, and data science.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other talent acquisition tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Strong understanding of the startup ecosystem.
