Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated
Project Manager to lead and deliver automotive projects focused on TCU (Telematics Control Unit), OTA (Over-the-Air updates), and CAN (Controller Area Network) technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive systems, excellent project management skills, and a passion for driving innovation in the automotive domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Ensure projects are executed on time, within scope, and budget.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and systems engineers, to achieve project goals.
- Foster collaboration and clear communication between internal and external teams.
- Technical Expertise:
- Provide guidance on TCU, OOTA, and CAN-related aspects of the project.
- Ensure proper integration and functionality of telematics systems with other vehicle components.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Regularly communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and regulations.
- Quality Assurance:
- Oversee testing and validation processes for TCU, OTA, and CAN implementations.
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality and performance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (Automotive, Electronics, or related field).
- 5 to 8 years of experience in project management, specifically in the automotive industry.
- Proven experience with TCU, Over-the-Air Updates (OTA), and CAN protocols.
- Familiarity with automotive standards UDS, ECU Diagnostics.
Skills And Competencies
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in PMP or equivalent is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with EVs or connected vehicle technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and IoT for automotive applications.
- Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
