Job Description:

Technical Program Manager with Python and Gen AI

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manager – Program Management to lead and deliver complex technology programs. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong program management capabilities to drive execution excellence across initiatives involving Python, Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, MCP, and Google Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

Program Management & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end program delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Define program roadmap, milestones, and execution strategies aligned with business goals.
• Track progress, manage dependencies, and proactively resolve bottlenecks.
• Drive agile delivery practices using tools like JIRA.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including business leaders, engineering teams, and external partners.
• Communicate program status, risks, and outcomes effectively to leadership.
• Build strong relationships to ensure alignment and successful delivery.

Technical Leadership

• Provide hands-on guidance and architectural oversight in:
• Python-based development
• Generative AI solutions
• Prompt Engineering techniques
• Model Context Protocol (MCP) implementations
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
• Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and scalable architecture.

Risk & Issue Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the program lifecycle.
• Develop contingency plans and ensure timely escalation of critical issues.
• Maintain program governance and compliance standards.

Execution Excellence

• Handle high-pressure environments and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Ensure timelines are met without compromising quality.
• Establish KPIs and continuously improve delivery performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Python programming
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI (LLMs, AI solutions)
• Knowledge of Prompt Engineering techniques and best practices
• Understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP) frameworks
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and deployments
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices is a plus

Program Management Skills

• Proven experience managing large-scale, complex programs
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Expertise in JIRA or similar project management tools
• Solid risk management and mitigation skills

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in technology roles, with at least 5+ years in program/project management
• Proven track record of delivering AI/ML or cloud-based programs
• Experience managing cross-functional and distributed teams

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• PMP, SAFe, or equivalent certification preferred

Nice to Have

• Experience in scaling AI products or platforms
• Exposure to enterprise-level digital transformation programs
• Knowledge of data engineering and analytics ecosystems
