About the role
Join our Core Payments Team as a Product Manager to own key product areas including Card payments, omni channel platform products, Terminals and custom merchant integrations across Pine Labs in-store platform.
What you'll do
- Own the roadmap for Core platform products for instore payments, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market needs.
- Define E2E lifecycle of an initiative including onboarding, transaction processing, settlement for different instore card payment modes, VAS services, custom merchant interfaces for enterprise, retail and government merchants
- Drive product development from conception to launch, including defining features, prioritizing requirements, and overseeing implementation.
- Write detailed PRDs, define use cases, and document edge cases for complex payment and integration flows using AI workflows.
- Collaborate across engineering, business, and operations teams to deliver features at scale — managing trade-offs and resolving blockers.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, payment networks, regulators, and technology partners, to drive product adoption and compliance.
- Analyze product and transaction data to guide decisions, monitor adoption, and identify issues.
What we're looking for
- 3-6 years of product management or related technical experience.
- Engineering degree from a top-tier institution (IITs, NITs, BITS, or equivalent).
- MBA from a premier B-school (IIMs, ISB, FMS, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Experience in payments (instore/Omni), POS terminals or fintech.
- Strong technical foundation — comfortable with APIs, system architectures, and technical discussions.
Technical Skills & efficiency
- Hands-on with payment transaction workflows with good understanding of the merchant ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of the card and omni channel payments ecosystem, including regulations, technical standards, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
- Passion for innovation and a customer-centric mindset, with a relentless focus on delivering value to users and driving business growth
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and lead through change, with a willingness to roll up sleeves and tackle challenges head-on.
