Responsibilities
- Leads multiple project teams of other software systems engineers, internal for all stages of design and development for complex products and platforms, including solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration.
- Collaborates and communicates with management and internal development stakeholders regarding project progress, and issue resolution.
- Represents the software systems engineering team for all phases of the development project.
- Analyse design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities.
- Reviews and evaluate project activities for systems design and development guidelines and standards;
- Oversee the installation, configuration, development and maintenance of application software.
- Monitor application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions aligning with architects and work towards the fixes .
- Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.
- Technically lead a project team of other software systems engineers to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions & architecture for assigned systems portion or subsystem.
Knowledge & Skills
- Highly motivated having hands on experience with NodeJS , Databases ((PostgreSQL/ MongoDB/ MSSqlServer/Oracle)/ RDS and developing RESTful APIs.
- Experience in using different tools like source code management (SVN or GIT), build tools (ant, maven, Gradle), Unit testing etc.
- Must have working knowledge with AWS cloud computing environment and experience using AWS services like AWS Lambda/ EKS / ECS / SNS/SQS/STEP Functions etc.
- Strong understanding of Microservices architectures with hands-on experience in developing and deploying Microservices solutions on Cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to produce high-quality code meeting project deadlines and the requirements.
- Strong critical thinking with ability to independently make decisions in the context of program vision
- Strong experience in software development and systems engineering
- Experienced in Design Patterns and developing Web Services
- Experience in Agile Methodologies and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Extensive experience with multiple software systems design tools and languages
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate on various technical and requirements forums
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- 6-10 years experience.
