About Faym
Faym is India's fastest-growing content commerce platform, enabling creators to drive 80Cr+ in monthly sales across platforms like Amazon, Myntra, Meesho, and more. With 16,000+ creators on the platform and 5 active brand programs, we're scaling fast and we're looking for a rockstar Tech-lead to strengthen our system and enhance the scalability.
We're live, scaling, and have PMF. Now we're building the infra to support 100K+ concurrent storefronts, millions of webhooks, and real-time sales attribution across platforms like Instagram, YouTube & WhatsApp.
What You'll Own
- Architect and scale microservices for catalog sync, order processing, and payment reconciliation
- Design fault-tolerant APIs and workflows to handle high-throughput commerce traffic
- Lead data design for systems like GMV tracking, attribution engines, and payout computation
- Own DevOps (we're on AWS: EC2, S3, ALB, Route53, EFS) and optimize infra for speed and cost
- Setup logging, tracing, monitoring (ELK/Grafana/Sentryyour pick)
- Ship clean, testable code in Node.js, Python, and mentor others to do the same
- Work with product to balance scope vs scalabilitywe don't ship toys
Our Tech Stack
- Frontend: React, Tailwin, Flutter
- Backend: Node.js (Express), Python (for ML/data pipelines/Scripting/Scraping), MongoDB, Redis, Webhooks
- Infra: GCP, AWS (EC2, S3, CloudWatch, Route 53), Docker, Nginx, GitHub Actions
- Others: Streamlit (internal ops tools), WhatsApp APIs, Firebase, Cloudflare, MongoDB Atlas
What We're Looking For
- 59 years of experience building distributed systems or product-heavy backends
- Strong in system design, data modeling, and performance tuning
- Proven ability to own large pieces of infra and ship without hand-holding
- Experience mentoring engineers or leading pods/squads
- Comfort working across services, databases, and deployments
- You write code that others can trust, scale, and debug
- Bonus If You've Worked OnWebhook-heavy or event-driven architectures
- Internal tooling & ops dashboards
- Real-time analytics or streaming systems (Kafka, SQS, etc.)
- Multi-tenant SaaS architecture
- Payments, order lifecycle systems, or e-commerce infra
- WhatsApp or Instagram automation flows
