Job Description

about the role

  • Provide Expert level technical support to operations team to handle & resolve complex content deliver and Service issues.
  • Lead the Fault management of highly critical and complex problems as a member of the highest levelexpert support team.
  • Propose and execute continuous improvement plans for resolving recurrent backbone network issues and improvement of Orange International backbone network infrasrtucture in a proactive manner
  • Coordinate with OBS Engineering/PlanningDepartments to resolve capacity, design and other complex issues within the Network by planning,participating and executing new projects successfully
  • Lead the vendor management activities as network operation entityby working closely with Engineering for platform specific problems and resolving Software bugs associated with Vendor platforms.
  • Create and communicate effectively Technical Advisories on vendor bugs and workarounds to all provisioning and customer facing support entities to sync up with their process and maintain transparent flow of information.

Dual validate and support High impact ,major and complex changes to the Network infrastructure as a part of Network Change Management Process and drive change management quality audit initiative.

about you

Expert level of knowledge and hands on experience of implementation and troubleshooting of on one or more than one of the following technologies/Platforms:

  • Strong background on virtualized environment, Rancher, Kubernets, VMWare, Open Stack, NSX-T
  • Strong background on Linux/Unix System admistration & DevOps, Python, Ansible, CICD scripting experts
  • Software Defined Network /Network Function Virtualization , SD-WAN , IaaS

Expert Level knowledge on the following :

  • Content Deliver Network (Physical & Virtualized)
  • Open Stack ( Red Hat )
  • Scripting Language : Python, Unix Shell, Perl & Ansible
  • Linux administration, VMware administration, Aura Akamai CDN (Preferred), Fastly & F5

Added advantage :

  • Knowledge of Database : My SQL , Mongo , Cassandra
  • Knowledge of Storage :Red Hat Ceph
  • Knowledge of IP network: BGP and MPLS

additional information

7-8 years hand's on technical support experience on Linux/Unix platforms with special exposure to Virtualized environment and scripting.

Certification in Python, Ansible , Open Stack , Linux , VMware

Experience of working in TAC support /L3 support teams preferred

In depth hands on technical knowledge and exposure to high end core network elements.
