THE ROLE
We're looking for a Technical Delivery Lead to take end-to-end ownership of our engineering operations. You'll lead a cross-functional team of mobile, front-end, and full-stack engineers — driving disciplined delivery, raising code quality to commercial grade, and serving as the single point of accountability between ownership and engineering.
This is not a coordination role. You will own the roadmap, run the sprint cycles, and be directly responsible for what ships.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Delivery framework — Establish and enforce a structured, disciplined sprint cycle. Own the roadmap and hold the team accountable to it.
- Engineering quality — Define and maintain a rigorous Definition of Done. Every feature that ships must be production-grade, documented, and defensible to a global B2B client.
- Performance & team health — Audit current output, identify bottlenecks, and have the authority to recommend restructuring — including talent replacement and new hires.
- Business-to-engineering translation — Convert business objectives into clear technical execution plans. Own the interface between leadership and the engineering team completely.
- Product stabilisation — Lead the effort to bring existing products to commercial grade, including resolving legacy quality issues and establishing planned deployment practices.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5–8 years of experience with a strong technical foundation — you can distinguish a genuine technical challenge from poor-quality work or weak excuses.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams in a fast-paced product environment.
- Fluency with project management tools (Jira, Linear, or equivalent) and agile methodologies.
- A fixer mindset — you enjoy taking disorganised systems and establishing order without losing momentum.
- Experience delivering B2B software products, ideally in regulated or enterprise environments.
