Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled, creative Content Writer with 2-3 years of experience who can create high-quality, SEO-driven and technically sound content across e-commerce, IT services, business, and marketing domains. The ideal candidate should be comfortable simplifying complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly content.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of
Google E-EAT guidelines and modern search behaviour, and the ability to create content that performs well across both
traditional search engines and
emerging AI/LLM platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Create compelling content for:
- Website pages (Home, Category, Product, Landing Pages)
- Blogs, articles, case studies and thought leadership content
- Product descriptions (SEO-friendly & conversion-focused)
- Email campaigns and marketing copies
- Social media content
- Technical content (Shopify updates, news, IT services, product documentation, how-to guides, use cases, whitepapers, etc.)
- Craft SEO, AEO, and GEO optimised content tailored to target keywords and search intent that ranks well in both traditional and AI search to establish authority.
- Translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand content for different audiences
- Collaborate with SEO, product, and marketing teams to execute content strategies
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and topic ideation
- Optimise existing content for better rankings (traditional and AI search), readability, and engagement
- Maintain consistency in tone, style, and brand voice
- Proofread and edit content for clarity, accuracy, and technical correctness
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, English, journalism, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of proven experience in content writing
- Strong experience in technical content writing (IT services, Shopify, digital products, etc.)
- Experience across e-commerce, business, and marketing content
- Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals (on-page SEO, keyword placement & intent, internal linking, etc.)
- Ability to break down complex topics into clear, engaging narratives
- Understanding of conversion-focused writing (CRO basics)
- Familiarity with technical documentation frameworks
- Excellent command of English (written & verbal)
- Familiarity with tools:
- Google Docs / Sheets
- SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar)
- Content Tools (Plagiarism detector, AI detector, and Grammarly)
- AI Tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) for content scaling
- CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, etc.)
