Our Global Customer Support division is responsible for Kongsberg Maritimes services, upgrades and support in the aftermarket. Our 3000 employees are present in 35 different countries around the world. During the operational lifetime of more than 30.000 installations, we ensure cost-efficient delivery of services, upgrades and spare parts in order to secure availability and predictability to our customers.
We're looking for a motivated individual with a minimum of 10 years of experience in service projects, preferably in field service or technical support.
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in engineering / Other relevant course or experience.
- Experience with ERP systems (Baan, Axapta 2012, Dynamics 365) and both machinery and electrical competence is an advantage.
- Experience in Waterjets technical product skills L2
- PLM software experience is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-office technical support to customers (via mail/phone).
- Support regional projects with technical expertise to ensure high project delivery standards.
- Manage project documentation for efficient project delivery.
- Proactively follow up on requests, cases, and incidents providing continuous progress updates and feedback to customers.
- Providing training sessions and workshops for internal staff members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge, mentoring junior team members.
- Assist engineers, coordinators, sales team and aftermarket in technical and operational matters.
- Participate in quality assurance processes ensuring solutions meet organization's standards, specifications, and requirements.
- Conduct reviews, audits, and tests as needed.
- Participating in the development and defining the scope of work and processes.
- Take a lead of Waterjet activities, ensuring professional daily technical operations and customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for technical knowledge within the department and communication with product department/centre.
- Adhere to company QA, HSE regulations, rules and procedures and execute plans with commitment and determination.
