Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Teamcenter Data Migration Consultant to join a large-scale Engineering Manufacturing project. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Teamcenter data migration, legacy system migration, data mapping, ETL processes, SQL, and Teamcenter data modeling. The consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, validating, and supporting end-to-end data migration activities while collaborating with business stakeholders and offshore development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end Teamcenter data migration solutions.
- Analyze legacy data and define migration strategies.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities.
- Prepare data mapping documents and migration specifications.
- Execute data validation and reconciliation activities to ensure data accuracy.
- Develop and execute SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting.
- Configure and administer Teamcenter migration utilities.
- Support migration testing, defect resolution, and production deployments.
- Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, and offshore development teams.
- Ensure migration activities comply with customer requirements and project timelines.
- Provide technical guidance and support during migration cycles.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience in Siemens Teamcenter Data Migration.
- Expertise in Teamcenter migration utilities:
- CSV2TCXML
- TC_IMPORT
- PLM XML
- SQL Scripts
- Strong knowledge of ETL concepts, data mapping, and data validation.
- Hands-on experience with SQL queries and Teamcenter database validation.
- Good understanding of Teamcenter Data Modeling.
- Experience installing, configuring, administering, and troubleshooting migration utilities.
- Experience coordinating with offshore development teams.
- Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in DesignCentral to Teamcenter migration.
- Experience in Agile to Teamcenter migration.
- Basic knowledge of Teamcenter ITK utilities and customization.
- Knowledge of BMIDE, Rich Client Plug-ins, and Active Workspace (AWC).
- Experience with Teamcenter configuration based on business requirements.
- Working knowledge of Linux environments.
