Team Leader - US Payroll

Description

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader for our US Payroll department based in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing and leadership skills to manage a team effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead the US payroll team in processing payroll accurately and timely for all employees.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
• Oversee payroll reporting and analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with HR and finance teams to maintain employee records and resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Provide training and support to team members on payroll processes and systems.
• Act as a point of contact for payroll-related inquiries from employees and management.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5-15 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a US payroll environment.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance in the United States.
• Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or similar systems).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address payroll issues.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing payroll data.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with employees and management regarding payroll matters.
