Job Description

Basic Function:

  • Developing Security Plans for Projects to meet business strategy and Objectives.
  • To provide security support to all relevant business operations
  • To work with other units to develop a security conditions within their contract and security policy requirement
  • Perform Risk assessment periodically
  • Emergency Preparedness & Response - Crisis Management - Work closely with Local crisis management team (LCMT) and in accordance to major emergency management plan (MEMP)
  • Working hand in hand with BCP team in order to conduct business impact analysis during any emergent scenarios.
  • Developing business continuity plan, execution & implementation of same. Imparting various trainings on BCP front
  • Conducting security inspection & audits to find the difficulties and implementing remedial measures as well as GAP analysis.
  • Conducting regular internal checks, physical verification and facility walks to ensure efficiency of systems and processes.
  • Liaise with local police, other emergency services, and local authorities with regards to incident handling
  • Training & Development - Competencies Development - Soft Skill / Functional / Scenario Based trainings etc.
  • Implementation of various six sigma tool for process excellence & quality deliverables
  • Manage the executive protection during all executive group visits

Essential Functions:

  • To develop and implement Security strategy relating to internal assets - people, physical, information, revenue, reputation, products, systems and network
  • Defining security budgets / cost optimization through various controls and driving cost effective security operations
  • Security Vendor Management - to manage the security vendor/ track SLA/ ensure 100% compliance at vendor's end
  • To ensure Security policies, procedures and guidelines are applied consistently.
  • Incident Management, report out & consolidation, as required

Technical Skills

  • Diploma/ Degree or equivalent in Security Management
  • Basic knowledge of computers

Process Specific Skills

  • Fire Trained
