The position in discussion is with the Managed Services team, part of our Consulting team.

Responsibilities

Team Lead will be expected to deliver against targets for both productivity and quality, managing your own pipeline and taking onboard feedback from oversight who are responsible for service delivery

System Administration

Manage user access, permissions, and roles within the Blackline system.

Perform metadata maintenance and system configuration.

Set up and maintain organizational structures, teams, accounts, and rules.

Support And Troubleshooting

Serve as a primary point of contact for user support and resolve production issues.

Diagnose and resolve system problems and tickets raised by end-users.

Data Management And Integrity

Perform data quality checks and manual data loads.

Manage data interface activities, including running interface jobs and communicating with IT and closing teams.

Ensure interfaces are tested regularly and working correctly.

Process Improvement And Implementation

Identify and implement automation and new Blackline functionalities to improve efficiency.

Participate in broader Blackline projects, including global implementations and rollouts.

Help define and drive the strategy for the Blackline platform to align with business needs.

Reporting And Analysis

Create and maintain dashboards and reports related to financial close metrics.

Provide reports for internal reviews and support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

Training And Documentation

Develop and maintain documentation and training materials for end-users.

Provide training to users on Blackline system functionality

Qualifications

Educational qualifications

  • Finance or accounting degree

Work Experience


Min 3-5 yrs in an operational environment

Mandatory technical & functional skills

  • Blackline Tool admin experience is mandate
  • Strong command and ease of business English (spoken and written), native preferred
  • Insurance, Banking and Asset Mgt experience a plus
  • Audit experience a plus.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • Awareness of the Regulatory & Compliance guidelines and other relevant legislation, procedures and processes
  • Preferred background in Financial services industry, with exposure to Banking Operations and Risk Management, under the ambit of global service delivery set-up
