As a Property Tax Senior Associate, you will be a valuable member of our team providing consulting and compliance services to a diverse client base in various industry sectors. You will have the opportunity to continue developing your technical knowledge in property taxation by working together with an experienced group of professionals on a variety of complex client issues. You will have the opportunity to develop your supervisory/leadership skills as an integral part of a growing practice.
As a Tax Senior Associate, you will be responsible for the following job duties:
- Ability to integrate with clients and the overall property tax team as well as working with professionals from other service lines within the firm
- Perform detailed technical review of workpapers and property tax returns
- Provide timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations by providing guidance on a range of property tax issues including personal and real property tax
- Guide, mentor and train new associates and professionals on both technical property tax knowledge and compliance software systems
Basic Qualifications
- Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or closely related field from an accredited college or university
- Requires a minimum of two (2) years of experience providing property tax consulting services in a Public Accounting, Consulting, or Law firm
- Strong analytical, problem solving, detail oriented and excellent interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of property tax compliance software (PTMS, ONESource)
- Ability to travel up to 10%

- Enrolled Agent
- Alternate Certifications:
- CMI (Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation)
- MAI (Member of the Appraisal Institute)
- Licensed Texas Senior Property Tax Consultant
