Spencer Ogden is a global specialist recruitment consultancy, partnering with leading organisations across the energy, infrastructure, engineering and technology sectors. We are supporting a global client in the appointment of an experienced Senior Recruiter to join their Talent Acquisition team on an initial 12-month contract based in Bangalore.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced in-house recruiter who enjoys partnering with business leaders, managing end-to-end recruitment and delivering exceptional hiring outcomes across technical and corporate functions.

The Role

As a Senior Recruiter, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, partnering closely with hiring managers to attract and secure high-calibre talent. You will provide market intelligence, develop proactive sourcing strategies and build strong talent pipelines to support business growth.

This role requires someone who is highly organised, commercially minded and experienced in recruiting across multiple disciplines within a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy briefing through to offer acceptance.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Source, engage and attract high-quality candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals and direct sourcing techniques.
• Screen, interview and assess candidates against role requirements.
• Present qualified candidate shortlists and provide market insights and hiring recommendations.
• Coordinate interviews and manage the recruitment process, ensuring an outstanding candidate experience.
• Maintain accurate recruitment activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Ensure recruitment processes comply with company policies and local employment legislation.
• Monitor recruitment performance, reporting on key hiring metrics and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years experience managing end-to-end recruitment within an in-house Talent Acquisition team or Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) environment.
• Experience recruiting technical, engineering, corporate or leadership positions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence hiring managers at all levels.
• Excellent sourcing, interviewing and candidate assessment capabilities.
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
