Responsibilities
- Perform routine system patching for endpoints.
- Support firmware patching for network devices, including switches, firewalls, and GPS modules, in coordination with the respective OEMs.
- Collect and conduct regular reviews of system logs to identify anomalies or potential issues, where required.
- Support the cybersecurity team on cybersecurity-related tasks as required.
- Attend to system faults and failures, performing troubleshooting andrestoration activities.
- Liaise with customers and system OEMs to support system implementation activities when required.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with customers during operational and project engagements.
Requirements:
- Foundational knowledge of Windows operating systems (installation, patching, user and service management).
- Basic understanding of network infrastructure (switches, firewalls, and IP networking concepts).
- Familiarity with common network troubleshooting tools (ping, tracert, ipconfig/ifconfig).
- Basic Linux knowledge is an advantage.
- Able to work independently and manage tasks across multiple sites within Singapore.
- Must be physically fit and comfortable working at heights (up to approximately 40 metres on staircase towers) to carry out maintenance and troubleshooting of antennas and related subsystems.
- Willing and able to participate in a 24/7 rotational standby arrangement.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to engage customers professionally.
- Willingness to learn new tools and processes on the job.
