System Engineer

Requirements:

To be part of Digital Manufacturing and Industrie 4.0 projects across Saint-Gobain group of companies

Experience in providing the network architecture for connectivity of PLC/DCS/OPC/HMI for software integration

Experience in working with various Automation OEM or systems Integrators- Rockwell/Siemens/Schneider/Allen Bradley

Experience in various SCADA platforms such as Ignition, GE Proficy, Wonderware, Siemens Win CC, RA Factory Talk

Experience on communication protocols such as OPC-DA/UA, MQTT, Modbus RTU & Modbus TCP/IP, Industrial ethernet, Profibus, Profinet

Experience on Ignition, Python & DBMS (MSSQL or MYSQL or PostgreSQL)

Knowledge on Industry 4.0, MES, IoT & OEE calculation

Knowledge on Data analytics, Cloud computing, Image processing applications are added advantage

Design and develop Industrial automation applications for discrete, process and hybrid Manufacturing

Experience in Industrial automation tools- feature selection, product evaluation for cost effective solution

Expertise in Industrial automation - Best Practices, Industry Standards and integration methodologies

Collaborate with multi-functional teams to provide Industrial Automation solutions for Digital Manufacturing

Part of end-to-end project of automation right from design to delivery of the project.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Part of INDEC 4.0 Digital Mfg Industrial Automation technology practice

Work on various projects in SG Digital MFG applications

Deliver L1/L2/L3 integration as well as manufacturing IT applications.

Verify and Validate Industrial Automation projects across L1- L3 layers of integration

Track multiple Industrial projects for INDEC 4.0 competency center across SG business units.
