About the Role
We are seeking experienced Sustainability Consulting professionals to support client engagements focused on ESG strategy, sustainability reporting, decarbonization, and sustainability data management. The role involves working closely with clients to understand sustainability challenges, develop solutions, define business requirements, and drive implementation through data-driven insights and technology-enabled approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to understand sustainability objectives and define solution approaches.
- Conduct research and analysis on sustainability trends, regulations, and industry practices.
- Develop proposals, business cases, and solution recommendations for sustainability initiatives.
- Gather and document business requirements, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Support sustainability reporting and compliance initiatives aligned with ESG frameworks and standards.
- Collaborate with technical teams to implement sustainability and ESG-related solutions.
- Define and track sustainability KPIs and business value metrics.
- Conduct solution demonstrations, workshops, Proof of Concept (POC), and client presentations.
- Prepare effort estimations and support project planning activities.
- Guide and mentor consultants on sustainability concepts, ESG reporting, and data management.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of ESG and Sustainability concepts.
- Experience in sustainability reporting and ESG disclosure programs.
- Knowledge of reporting frameworks such as:
- GRI
- CSRD
- BRSR
- TCFD
- CDP
- SASB/ISSB
- Experience in sustainability data analysis and reporting.
- Proficiency in Power BI or Tableau for data visualization.
- Working knowledge of Python for analytics and automation.
- Strong consulting, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to assess business processes and recommend technology-driven improvements.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled solutions and digital transformation initiatives within sustainability programs.
Qualification
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Management, or related disciplines.
