Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Operations Engineer to join our team. This role requires a strong foundation in Linux systems, scripting, and database query development, with a focus on automation, performance, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot Linux servers in production environments.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash or Python.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy, configure, and support applications.
- Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues to ensure high availability.
- Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and migrations.
- Maintain Git repositories and enforce version control best practices.
- Participate in on-call rotations to address critical system issues.
- Document system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience writing and reading relational database queries using T-SQL or ANSI-SQL.
- 3+ years of experience modifying and supporting code or scripting development.
- 4+ years of experience in Bash/Python scripting.
- 3+ years of experience in analytical and troubleshooting roles.
- Proficiency with Linux platforms such as RedHat, CentOS, SUSE/SLES, or Ubuntu.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git integration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer interaction and problem-solving abilities.
- Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience in product support within the healthcare industry.
- Relevant certifications such as:
- Oracle Certified Professional
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
