Job Description
The Support Coke Oven Operation- Engineer is tasked with managing and optimizing the operations of coke ovens to ensure the production of high-quality coke in alignment with plant requirements. This role is pivotal in achieving production targets while maintaining process stability and adhering to safety and environmental standards. The engineer will coordinate operational and maintenance activities to ensure seamless production processes. A key focus will be on driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and overall plant performance. The role requires a proactive approach to monitoring and analyzing operational data to identify areas for improvement. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies is paramount. The engineer will also be responsible for effective manpower management, ensuring optimal resource allocation during shifts. Additionally, the role involves preparing detailed operational reports and maintaining a safe working environment.
Principal Accountabilities
Oversee the daytoday operations of coke oven batteries and associated facilities to ensure safe efficient and uninterrupted productionbr Monitor process parameters and supervise shift operations to maintain adherence to safety quality and environmental standardsbr Achieve production targets by coordinating with maintenance and support teams to minimize downtime and optimize operational performancebr Analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions for process deviationsbr Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity quality and overall plant performancebr Manage manpower effectively ensuring proper allocation and utilization of resources during shiftsbr Prepare comprehensive operational reports and maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirementsbr Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain a safe working environment in line with safety standards
