Job Overview

The Business Process Analyst provides data analysis and presentation for the Aerospace, Defense, and Marine (ADM) division specific to supplier compliance. He / She also has responsibility for initiatives to improve key performance indicators: supplier electronic profile completion, Product Environmental Compliance, training, audit support, and government flowdowns, to support ADM plant operations (internal customer). Additionally, he or she will help develop and execute the supplier compliance strategy that minimizes the risks and ensures continuity of supply. Finally, he or she will be responsible for creating and leading project action plans and directing and training teams needed to achieve key measures and results.

Roles and Responsibility

Responsibility:

  • Track compliance metrics.
  • Drive compliance initiatives through supplier contact.
  • Serve internal customers with reports regarding compliance metrics.
  • Support suppliers with using TE compliance tools.
  • Train internal teams on compliance initiatives.
  • Assist in procurement audits.
  • Present to executive leadership summaries on open issues and projects including action plans and time lines for completion.
  • Support transfer of new products from development.
  • Able to work independently on a variety of problems. Exercises judgment within established procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Lead process to implement and maintain tools to track and drive compliance.
  • Travel up to 10% may be required.

Key skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum 5 years experience. Supply chain, procurement, or engineering experience with compliance experience preferred.
  • Government contracting experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of MRP systems, SAP preferred.
  • Understanding of production methods and quality assurance methods.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs required.
  • Team player, hands-on attitude, empowerment culture, ability to work with little supervision.
  • Demonstrated track record of business process project management.
