Job Description

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and implement procurement and commodity strategies, present them to leadership, and drive their execution.
  • Plan, organize, and control business contracts and negotiations for the strategic acquisition of indirect goods and services.
  • Lead supplier contract management, including negotiations and comprehensive supplier management strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Facilitate supplier agreement negotiations, renewals, and contract addendums to support operational needs.
  • Build and maintain a strong supply network to meet capacity requirements for indirect procurement and mitigate global supply chain risks.
  • Represent indirect procurement management on cross-functional teams to address supply challenges and meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with product, manufacturing, and quality engineers, as well as procurement, finance, and product support teams.
  • Define and monitor metrics aligned with annual operating plan (AOP) objectives to drive continuous supplier performance improvement.
  • Evaluate supplier cost, quality, and risk performance to optimize sourcing decisions and preferred supplier base selection.
  • Develop and execute strategic procurement plans to define a preferred supplier network for indirect procurement.
  • Promote early supplier involvement in new service or product designs to leverage supplier expertise for cost, quality, and service optimization.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of strategic sourcing experience, preferably managing fixtures or related mechanical commodities.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and cost drivers for fixtures, including sheet metal, fabrication, welding, and finishing.
  • Proven experience in negotiation, contracting, and supplier relationship management.
  • Background in global sourcing and working with international suppliers.
  • Excellent project management, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP ERP systems and sourcing tools such as Ariba.
