Position Summary : The incumbent will drive Servify's channel sales strategy across Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, delivering strong revenue growth and expanding market presence. They will lead key relationships with OEMs, distributors, and channel partners while managing high-performing sales teams. The role focuses on new partner acquisition, operational excellence, market analysis, and effective execution of OEM programs to enable sustained regional growth and business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing, developing and implementing Servify's channel sales strategy across the AP & Telangana region aligned with business objectives.
- Achieve ambitious sales targets; monthly, quarterly, and annual with a focus on revenue and growth.
- Build, develop, and sustain relationships with OEMs, distributors, and channel partners to strengthen sales effectiveness.
- Identify talent gaps, determine hiring needs for the sales function, and lead the selection process for new team members.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand market presence through new partner acquisition and onboarding with strategic business development initiatives.
- Champion OEM warranty and Trade-in programs; drive high adoption rates across the channel.
- Analyze market trends and competition, implementing solutions for business growth and differentiation
- Collaborate with OEM and internal cross-functional teams to enable operational excellence and resolve partner or customer issues swiftly.
- Balance new channel partner/account acquisition (Hunting) with nurturing and growing existing relationships (Farming).
- Managing budgets, overseeing performance, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Provide detailed reporting, forecasting, and conduct regular business reviews to track performance and drive accountability.
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in any discipline; MBA from a recognized institute is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in channel sales, distribution management, or related leadership roles.
- Proven track record as a State Sales Head or equivalent senior leadership role.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage high-performance sales teams.
- Strong ability to measure and analyze performance indicators, including ROI and KPIs to drive strategic decision making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build collaborative partnerships and stakeholder relationships.
- Strong organizational capabilities coupled with a proactive problem solving attitude; Bias for action.
- In-depth industry expertise in smartphone, consumer electronics, fintech, with respect to VAS programs.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in MS Office applications; (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with Tableau and AI tools with data-driven approach to performance management is a plus
- Willingness to travel up to 4550% within the assigned territory.
