About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Web Developer with expertise in Shopify, WordPress, and AI-powered website development.

At Sqroot Media, we primarily work with two categories of clients:

• D2C Brands: Building, maintaining, optimizing, and scaling Shopify websites to improve user experience and conversions.
• EdTech & Real Estate Brands: Developing high-converting landing pages for Meta and Google Ads lead generation campaigns.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling both website development and rapid landing page creation using modern AI tools such as Claude, Loveable, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and similar platforms.

This is a full-time Work From Office role in Mumbai. Candidates must currently reside in Mumbai and should be available to join immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

Shopify Development (D2C Clients)

Build, maintain, and optimize Shopify websites.

Develop custom Shopify sections, pages, and themes.

Manage website updates, bug fixes, and performance improvements.

Integrate third-party apps, payment gateways, APIs, and tracking tools.

Improve website speed, SEO, and conversion rate.

Landing Page Development (EdTech & Real Estate)

Design and develop high-converting landing pages for Meta and Google Ads campaigns.

Build responsive landing pages with a strong focus on lead generation and conversion optimization.

Create landing pages quickly using AI-assisted development tools while maintaining high design and performance standards.

Implement forms, CRM integrations, event tracking, pixels, and analytics.

General Responsibilities

Work closely with the Performance Marketing, Design, and Account Management teams.

Ensure websites and landing pages are mobile-first, fast-loading, and SEO-friendly.

Handle deployment, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance.

Continuously explore AI tools and automation to improve development speed and efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5–8+ years of experience in Shopify and WordPress development.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Liquid, PHP, and responsive web development.
• Hands-on experience building Shopify stores and WordPress websites.
• Experience creating high-converting landing pages for paid advertising campaigns.
• Proficiency with AI development tools such as Claude, Loveable, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar.
• Experience integrating Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, APIs, CRMs, and lead forms.
• Strong understanding of website speed optimization, Core Web Vitals, CRO, and SEO best practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with D2C brands.
• Experience building lead generation landing pages for EdTech, Real Estate, or similar industries.
• Ability to independently manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
