About Open Secret:

At Open Secret, we believe every snack should be a delicious, guilt-free experience. We're on a mission to un-junk the Indian snack aisle with better-for-you treats that combine indulgence with clean ingredients. As we scale our brand across digital platforms, we're looking for a Video Editor who can turn our vision into visually stunning, scroll-stopping content.

Role Overview:

We're looking for a highly creative Video Editor with a sharp eye for aesthetics, storytelling, and digital trends. You'll be responsible for crafting high-performing video content across social media platforms, performance marketing campaigns, UGC videos, and motion graphics. Your work will directly shape how the world sees and experiences Open Secret online.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and produce engaging short-form and long-form video content for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and other platforms.
  • Develop performance-driven creatives for ads (Meta, Google, etc.) that convert.
  • Assemble UGC and testimonial-style videos into polished branded content.
  • Create motion graphic videos using animation, kinetic typography, and transitions.
  • Collaborate closely with the creative, marketing, and brand teams to align video content with campaign goals.
  • Stay updated on trends, formats, and visual styles relevant to Gen Z and millennial audiences.
  • Manage post-production workflows including basic sound mixing, color correction, and exporting in platform-specific formats.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong creative and aesthetic sense you have a portfolio that demonstrates clean, thoughtful, and visually engaging edits.
  • Proven experience editing content for social media and digital marketing.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
  • A good grasp of storytelling, rhythm, and pace you know how to keep viewers hooked in the first 3 seconds.
  • Motion design and animation skills are a strong plus.
  • Ability to take direction, receive feedback, and turn around edits quickly.
  • Basic understanding of content performance metrics is a plus.

Bonus Points If You:

  • Have worked with D2C or FMCG brands.
  • Are obsessed with Instagram Reels, TikTok trends, or YouTube Shorts.
  • Can ideate content, not just edit it.
