Design/Architect test automation framework for API /Services Testing by using Selenium, ReadyAPI, UFT or Katalon
Develop the Automated Regression Pack for different projects
Setting standards for automation tool selection and methodology development
Recommend and evaluate new tools to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality
Having an ambassador in place who can deal with the Technical problems related to API Testing & NFR Automation Testing
Provide guidance and training to implement test automation to application teams
Guide application teams to implement test automation strategy including roadmap, tools, framework & approach
Test Environment set-up/management, monitoring, and streamlining release management to QA Environments.
Skill And Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field
8+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET).
6+ years of experience in Automation testing.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience developing automation in multiple programming languages - Java, Python, VB Scripting
Experience in HTML, HTML5, CSS
Experience in one or more Test automation tool such as Selenium, Katalon, Postman, UFT and ReadyAPI
Extensive hands-on experience in JIRA / ALM / Zephyr or any other such tooling with Agile Software Development methodologies
Proven Expertise in Test Framework design and Development
Demonstrated experience in test planning, test design, and test execution of highly complex systems.
Good understanding of TDD and BDD approaches
Ability to use a wide variety of open source and in-house technologies and tools that are DevOps enablers such as Docker, Maven, Jenkins, Bit bucket, Git, etc.
Must have basic cloud knowledge on Azure or GCP.
Good To Have Skills
Having experience in NFR Testing such as Performance/Security. Able to set up NFR practices and Framework for Performance Testing by using Jmeter, Webload and Load runner etc.
TestNG and Junit
Adopt an automation-focused mindset to streamline recurring tasks by applying best practices and standards, thereby reducing manual efforts.
Good understanding of Micro front End and Micro services Testing
