Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Sr. Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager (ASM). The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities with hospitals and healthcare institutions, promoting the company's portfolio of hospital infrastructure, operating room equipment. The Sr. Sales Executive / ASM will manage the sales cycle from lead generation and product demonstrations to negotiation and closure, while maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers and distributors. The role includes coordinating with internal technical and service teams to address client requirements, preparing proposals and quotations, and ensuring timely delivery and post-sales support. The position also requires regular market visits, competitor tracking, sales reporting, and achievement of sales targets within the assigned territory.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in B2C sales, account management, and business development within healthcare or medical devices.
  • Experience in consultative selling, product presentations, and handling technical discussions with clinical and administrative stakeholders.
  • Capabilities in territory planning, pipeline management, and sales forecasting.
  • Proficiency in relationship building, negotiation, and closing deals with institutional clients.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
  • Familiarity with hospital infrastructure, operating room equipment, or medical technology solutions is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent commercial qualification is an advantage.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, preferably in the medical or healthcare industry.
  • Willingness to travel extensively in any territory assigned to you.
  • Deep Clinical knowledge with capability to handle Demonstrations, independently.
