Job Description


Amazon is looking for a motivated individual for the profile of Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Program Manager (LSSBB PM) in Last Mile ACES . The LSSBB PM shall enable Continuous Improvement (CI) of our current Last Mile processes and technologies. LSSBB PM shall both deliver improvements through large scale Six Sigma projects and enable incremental process improvement through the use of Lean Six Sigma tools and data analysis. LSSBB PM will closely work with Program/SME, Process & Quality Management functions in ACES to deliver results. ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence System) Program Manager for its India transportation operations team. The person will individually work on step change projects while collaborating with and coaching members of the PE team on process analysis and project execution . This role requires you to have strong analytical capabilities, consistent demonstration of grit, willingness to lean in to new learning opportunities, the right balance between open minds and strong backbone, and an aptitude and inclination to coach and teach others. Specific job tasks include:

. Work with Program/SME team to create Value Stream Maps (VSM) and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) in order to identify top Six Sigma Projects & other CI initiatives
. Deliver 2-3 Six Sigma Projects per year, solving a significant problem to the network or delivering significant cost savings throughout the project life from unknown solution to sustained results
. Deliver Training / Conduct workshops on Lean Six Sigma concepts to the Last Mile Teams (LM Operations, ACES, Change Champions, and Program Teams)
. Mentor Change Champions, ACES, Program Teams, LM Ops to execute CI initiatives

The successful candidate will be a person who enjoys and loves working with data, understand operational processes and would be able to design and define progress paths.

Key job responsibilities
Amazon is looking for a motivated individual for the profile of ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence System) Program Manager for its India transportation operations team. As a program manager, you will:
. Serve as gatekeeper in assigned process areas for the change management process
. Partner with tech organization on the business requirement documents (BRD)
. Define the right process and work with operations to establish the right process path
. Work with stakeholders to eliminate gaps in system and have a systemic fix of gaps
. Demonstrates discretion in coordination of project scoping and selection to align with business objectives
. Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones and performance across all projects
. Audits completed projects to verify sustained impact

This role calls for an individual who understands all aspects of performance which impacts both internal and external customer experience. The individual will determine, then drive, any initiatives necessary to improve it. It requires an individual to showcase judgment and decision making skills to create long term sustainable process paths to improve customer experience.

- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 5+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements


- 5+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
