Role: Deputy General Manager
Position overview
Work in an innovative and fast paced MSS application development team to conceptualize and execute projects to develop cloud delivered application that enables customers with excellent Ux, analytics&Reporting and configuration. The work will be related to producing business outcomes for Cloud and Cybersecurity products and services of Novamesh, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Communications Ltd.
Success in this role requires a leader who can lead a team of 15 to 20 people to deliver products, enhancements and BAU sustenance. The position requires a seasoned manager of people, projects and technology to deliver and sustain world class product.
Detailed Job Description
- Technically leading the team. 70% hands-on technical , 30% management skills
- Demonstrable knowledge of influencing stakeholders and team members
- Mentoring, leading a team of engineers on technical front to deliver great products and outcomes
- Develop, Test, and Deploy Enterprise class MSS portal
- Experience with system integration design and implementation, enterprise integration patterns
- 12+ years of industry experience, and 3+ years of experience in Technology and team management
- Hands on with code, test and technology
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, product managers, and domain experts.
- Go-getter attitude and will to Make it happen
Qualification and Skills
- Bachelor or Master s degree in Computer Science, or a related field from reputed institutions.
- Strong knowledge of web technologies, frontend/backend development
- Experience in web applications development
- Handson in developing applications in Java, Springboot, Angular, Nodejs
- Knowledge of data structures and design patterns
- Working knowledge of data normalization, data lakes and big data concepts
- Strong programming skills
- oJava, Springboot, Angular, Nodejs
- oSQL, flat file DB, Datalakes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- Interview will involve written tests including coding.
Familiarity of AI and applications on AI will be a plus.
