Role Summary

This role is full time remote opportunity. Our approach focuses on developing chemistry and trust with our clients. To help us build functional systems that improve client experience. We are looking for a well-rounded and experienced Sr. Mobile Device Management Support Engineer. As a Sr. Mobile Device Management Support Engineer, you will work collaboratively with product leaders and other experienced Engineers to execute our combined product visions. You will spend most of your time working to build across a variety of multiple platform applications. The position requires the ability to thrive in a team-oriented, product-focused environment. The ideal candidate will be driven by the challenge of solving unique problems in a compressed timeframe while balancing the needs of the business. The role will require someone comfortable with some ambiguity/minimal direction, and that can thrive in a rapidly evolving environment.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in Mobile Ecosystem Support
  • Extensive experience with Apple products, including MDM, ABM, and App review
  • Background in networking, specifically VPN, DMZ and Firewall configuration & troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of mobile security best practices, including IdP/MFA and device hardening
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical customers
  • Proficient in software and infrastructure troubleshooting, issue triage and root cause analysis
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from C Suite to ICs
  • Hyper focused on ensuring an excellent customer experience

Skills And Qualifications

  • 10+ years of working knowledge of iOS and MacOS, specifically in the MDM/EMM space (Mobility sector preferred)
  • 7+ years leveraging External API calls to pull back or write data (Additional ability to create custom APIs via Swagger, etc. preferred)
  • 5+ years Bash and/or Python experience
  • Strong knowledge, expertise, and ability to deploy applications and configurations via Apple Configurator and MDM clients (Ivanti/MobileIron, AirWatch, Intune, Jamf, SCCM, Jenkins etc.)
    • Preferred expertise in Intune and Jamf
  • Apple Business Manager (formerly Apple DEP)
  • Assigning devices, cert renewals, APNS, supervision identities
  • Ability to troubleshoot application installation, network connectivity, and management issues
  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail are critical components of this role
  • Monitor and Triage Help Desk ticketing systems and SLAs
  • Documentation skills - creating and updating knowledge base articles
  • Adhere to team best practices. Cut once, measure twice mentality
  • Worked in fast-paced production environments, where attention to detail and the ability to multitask are vital
  • Ability to adhere to and meet deliverables following strict service level agreements
  • Must demonstrate strong organizational skills
  • Ability to take initiative and collaborate across teams
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • JAMF 200 Certification
  • DevOps Experience is a Plus

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Intune and/or Jamf
  • Programming languages (Python, Go, Swift, Bash)
  • Experience with Jira Service Desk/Confluence
  • Ability to build and modify APIs
  • Experience with HTML/HTML 5, CSS, JS, ReactJS, TypeScript both web and mobile following platform specific guidelines and building robust APIs
  • Familiarity with code repositories and checking in code
